Sam Heughan talks about Outlander Season 7

Fans eagerly await Starz’s hit romance drama, Outlander Season 7, to finally land on screens in 2023. Sam Heughan unveiled that Outlander Season 7 will be an extended season of 16 new episodes ahead of its premiere.
Outlander’s sixth season ended with many eager to discover Claire Fraser’s (Caitriona Balfe) fate.
The nurse was arrested for murder and then separated from her husband, James Fraser (Sam Heughan), on her way to face trial in Wilmington.
However, fans expect Outlander Season 7 in early 2023, as the production continues in Scotland.
The show released a behind-the-scenes photo of John Bell in costume as his character Young Ian. Outlander’s official Twitter account shared a photo of John posed with a huge smile while sitting on a rock.
The caption read: “@JohnBell’s got a smile that could melt any winter weather away. #Outlander.”
The last time we saw him, he and Jamie were racing in the direction of Wilmington to try and save Claire.

Since his first appearance in season three, Young Ian has had a thirst for adventure, often finding him in challenging situations.
After spending years living with his uncle Jamie, Ian decided to exchange places with Roger McKenzie (Richard Rankin), who the mohawk tribe had captured.
He developed his survival skills, learned the language, and grew to love the tribe, especially after falling in love with Wakyo’teyehsnonhsa or Emily (Morgan Holmstrom).
However, after missing most of season four, Ian returned to the Ridge as a heartbroken man.
