Recognized for technological innovation in the analytics and mobile industry, TA Telecom is the only African and Arab company to win the Red Herring Top 100 Global Award after competing with hundreds of private companies in three continents.
Leading companies from North America, Europe, and Asia made it on the prestigious Red Herring’s global list, which was announced on Nov. 19 in an awards ceremony held in the United States.
“Innovation in data analytics is reshaping the global tech map,” said TA Telecom Executive Chairman Amr Shady. “This prestigious award not only crowns TA Telecom’s efforts in that field, it demonstrates that African and Arab companies have joined the global tech race, playing a key role in shaping the future of data and mobile technology,” Shady added.
Red Herring’s editorial staff assessed competing companies on both quantitative and qualitative measures, including financial health, innovation, management, strategy and market penetration.
Publisher and CEO of Red Herring Alex Vieux said choosing the companies wasn’t a “small feat”, explaining that the list was narrowed down from hundreds of global candidates through a rigorous process.
“We believe TA Telecom embodies the vision, drive and innovation that define a successful entrepreneurial venture. TA Telecom should be proud of its accomplishment,” said Vieux.
