Netflix is celebrating the end of this year by releasing a bulky bunch of movies and series in the coming December of 2021. We can hardly wait for December to begin!
Netflix always adds a ton of big shows and movies around the holidays, and no one (outside of Hallmark and Lifetime) is releasing as many holiday movies this year as Netflix.
Netflix new releases for December 2021 are as follows:

Netflix is one of the popular online streaming platforms. The network is known for its series, but recently they started to produce movies.
This year, the network is offering a wide range of holiday classics, Christmas movies, Oscar contenders as well as new Netflix originals.

Benedict Cumberbatch stars alongside Kirsten Dunst, Jesse Plemons, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Thomasin McKenzie, Genevieve Lemon, Keith Carradine, and Frances Conroy in The Power of the Dog. It’s based on the novel of the same name by Thomas Savage.
Single All The Way
Release date: Dec. 2

Christmas movie alert! Single All The Way stars Michael Urie, Philemon Chambers, Luke MacFarlane, Barry Bostwick, Jennifer Robertson, Jennifer Coolidge, and Kathy Najimy. It tells the story of Peter, who asks his friend to pretend to be his boyfriend for Christmas. Things don’t go as planned!
The Unforgivable
Release date: Dec. 10

Sandra Bullock stars in The Unforgivable, a story about a woman who commits a violent crime and is later released from prison. She tries to rebuild her life. Vincent D’Onofrio, Jon Bernthal, Richard Thomas, Linda Emond, Aisling Franciosi, Rob Morgan, and Viola Davis also star in the Netflix movie.
Don’t Look Up
Release date: Dec. 10

Don’t Look Up stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence as two astronomers who are trying to alert the world to an incoming asteroid that could wipe out the planet. This is another Oscar contender!
The Lost Daughter
Release date: Dec. 31

The Lost Daughter stars Dakota Johnson and Olivia Colman, and it’s directed by Maggie Gyllenhaal. It’s based on the novel of the same name by Elena Ferrante. It tells a story of a woman, while on a summer holiday, who finds herself becoming obsessed with another woman and her daughter, prompting memories of her own early motherhood to come back and unravel her.

The final season of Lost in Space premieres on the first day of the month, and it gets the month off to a great start.
Money Heist Season 5 part 2
Release date: Dec. 3
It all comes down to this. The final five episodes of Money Heist will be released in early December. It’s truly the end of an era.
The Witcher season 2
Release date: Dec. 17
Fans have been waiting two full years for The Witcher season 2, and that wait ends on Dec. 17. The Witcher season 3 is already in the works.
Emily in Paris season 2

Christmas watch with the whole fam? We thought we’d have to wait until 2022 for Emily in Paris season 2, but Netflix is ending the year with a new season of the romantic comedy series.
