Over 12 million Tweets related to love in Egypt

This Valentine’s Day, Twitter launched #LoveHappens to give people more power to express #Love and connect with others. Twitter is the place to see love unfolding around the world, to express love as events happen, share love in the face of adversity, to find love and share love for the people who make a difference in our lives.

In the Egypt alone there were 12.3 million Tweets for the word love (4.7mn for ‘Love’ and 7.6mn for حب، الحب). Globally, people Tweeted the word “love” more than 2.5 billion times over the last year. When you want to share love on Twitter, you have endless hashtags and emojis to choose from. This Valentine’s Day, we took a look at the Tweets that attracted the most ❤️ ‘s in Egypt on Twitter so far this year:
