Altibbi Strengthens Patient Communication With Truecaller Verification

Altibbi has entered a strategic partnership with Truecaller to enhance the transparency of its patient communication across Jordan and the wider Middle East. The move integrates Truecaller’s Customer Experience Solution suite, including Verified Business Caller ID, Call Reason, and Business Page. The partnership aims to make Altibbi’s outgoing calls instantly identifiable and easier for patients to trust.

Clear Caller Identity and Call Context for Patients

Through the integration, all calls from Altibbi now appear on Truecaller with the company’s verified Arabic name, logo, and a green verification badge. This ensures that patients immediately recognize the legitimacy of incoming medical calls, addressing a long-standing friction point in digital healthcare where unidentified numbers often go unanswered.

The Call Reason feature adds an additional layer of clarity by showing the purpose of each call before a patient answers. According to the release, these reasons include appointment reminders, consultation follow-ups, and guidance related to ongoing medical services. The Business Page provides verified contact information, service hours, and direct links to Altibbi’s telemedicine services inside the Truecaller app.

Ayman Sharaiha, Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at Altibbi, said the partnership supports the company’s mission to deliver transparent and reliable patient interactions. He emphasized that instant caller recognition improves trust and aligns with Altibbi’s efforts to expand access to high-quality digital healthcare across the region.

Priyam Bose, Global Head of GTM and Developer Products at Truecaller, said the integration enables Altibbi to deliver secure and context-rich communication. He added that combining an Arabic Business Name with Call Reason and Business Page features creates clearer and more accessible patient engagement experiences.

A Growing Push for Verified Communication in Digital Health

The partnership arrives at a time when digital health providers across MENA are increasing their focus on communication authenticity and user trust. With more than 450 million active users globally and close to 56 billion unwanted calls identified and blocked in 2024, Truecaller continues to play a central role in verification and fraud reduction. Altibbi, which has facilitated over six million telehealth consultations and hosts more than two million medically reviewed Arabic articles, says the integration strengthens its commitment to reliable and human-centered healthcare delivery.
