A video ad for the new service, Ready Digital, vows to arm users with timely delivery, customer reach, quantity, and quality posts.

Ready Digital gives users six different monthly subscription bundles to choose from starting with an EGP 200 bundle that promises delivery of two Facebook posts and 500 social reach up to the top EGP 1,300 bundle, which offers 12 posts and 3000 social reach per month.

The digital marketing industry had mixed reactions with many voicing concerns over Vodafone competing with local digital agencies and freelancers.

A digital marketing expert told Digital Boom that it’s too early to predict the outcome of the new service, but questioned whether Vodafone will be able to handle the expected influx of requests and maintain quality at the same time, emphasizing that social media shouldn’t be about the quantity of posts.
