The Science of Sharing – how to develop engaging online content with Buzzfeed

It’s not easy to communicate as a marketer or communications professional in today’s digital world. We’re faced with hordes of content clutter. The question is, how do you get your content. Some of the best producers out there are media agencies, the likes of the BBC and Al-Jazeera.

One of the best content producers and websites is Buzzfeed. Founded only nine years back, the organization dubs itself as “The Media Company for the Social Age.” Its Alexa ranking was 97 as of December last year, making it the 97th most popular website worldwide, which isn’t bad when you consider they’re not a search engine or into e-commerce.

My organization spoke to Jennifer Starr, Brand Strategy Director at Buzzfeed, and asked her to come up with a list (what else!) to make content engaging, interesting, and shareable online.
