Vodafone Ousts Etisalat Egypt as Al Ahly’s Sponsor

    Al Ahly Football Club signed a three-year sponsorship deal with Vodafone, replacing Etisalat’s logo on the team’s red t-shirt starting next season.
    Etisalat Egypt has been Al Ahly’s official sponsor since 2011 after outbidding Vodafone, ending its 9-year partnership with the red team in an EGP 110M sponsorship deal – one of the biggest in Egyptian football history.
    Full details of the new sponsorship deal will be shared in a press conference tonight. Vodafone Egypt started a viral campaign with the hashtag #1isBack preparing for an activation of the new deal:
