Dorra Fronts Juhayna Pure’s Pomegranate Launch

Dorra joined Juhayna’s launch of Pure pomegranate juice as the brand’s ambassador, giving the new flavour a familiar face at an event in Egypt.
In its launch announcement, Juhayna said it selected the flavour after consumer research. The company presented the event as an introduction to the latest addition to its Pure range.
The ambassador at the launch
Dorra attended alongside company representatives and spoke about her association with Pure. Juhayna’s announcement also described a visit to its production lines, connecting her ambassador role to the product and its manufacture.
That gave the launch more material than a celebrity photograph alone: an event, a new flavour and a spokesperson discussing the brand. The photographs below document the original launch coverage.
Keep the product claims precise
Juhayna described Pure as juice without added sugar. That wording is different from saying it contains no sugar. The original article blurred that distinction.
The launch announcement also included claims about treating anaemia and headaches and other health benefits. A celebrity endorsement is not evidence that a juice treats a medical condition, and those claims have been removed from this report.
For marketers, the distinction matters. A familiar ambassador can make a product easier to recognise, but the product claims still need evidence of their own.

Correction, 8 September 2026: We removed unsupported medical claims and clarified the company’s “no added sugar” description. We also removed growth and production figures whose periods or meaning were not sufficiently clear. This remains a historical report of the launch, originally published in January 2017.
