Job Brief

Primary Responsibilities of an SEO Specialist

  • Conduct in-depth keyword research, track rankings, and recommend adjustments to maximize performance.
  • Ensure all web pages, blog posts, and digital assets follow SEO best practices for on-page optimization.
  • Analyze site analytics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work cross-functionally with content, design, and development teams to implement SEO strategies.
  • Oversee external SEO vendors and agencies to align deliverables with business objectives.
  • Create detailed monthly reports tracking SEO KPIs, traffic growth, and competitive benchmarks.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an SEO-focused role.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar tools.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of search engine algorithms and evolving SEO/SEM trends.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a results-driven attitude.

To excel as an SEO Specialist, candidates should demonstrate expertise in:

  • Technical SEO: Site architecture, page speed optimization, structured data.
  • On-Page SEO: Keyword placement, meta tags, content optimization.
  • Off-Page SEO: Link-building strategies and authority growth.
  • Tools: Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Moz.
