Moroccan singer Saad Lamjarred’s hit song LM3ALLEM has reached a staggering 121 million views on YouTube in just three months, setting a new record for the most-watched Arabic song on the platform.

LM3ALLEM Breaks Records in Arab Pop

Released in 2015, LM3ALLEM quickly went viral across the Arab world, thanks to its infectious beat, polished production, and Lamjarred’s charismatic performance. The music video surpassed 121 million views within 90 days of launch, outperforming regional hits that took years to cross the 100 million mark.

Boshret Kheir Takes Second Place

Coming in second is Emirati singer Hussain Al Jassmi with his patriotic anthem Boshret Kheir, which has racked up over 103 million views since its release in May 2014. The song became a cultural phenomenon during Egypt’s 2014 elections, with fans across the country sharing homemade dance videos set to its uplifting chorus.

How Arabic Pop Is Dominating YouTube

Arabic music continues to gain traction globally, with YouTube offering a stage for regional stars to reach millions. Artists like Saad Lamjarred and Hussain Al Jassmi have leveraged viral video strategies, regional pride, and catchy hooks to drive massive engagement across borders.

With platforms like YouTube becoming the primary distribution channel for music in the MENA region, visual storytelling and production quality have become key to success. Songs that tap into collective identity—whether through humor, patriotism, or modern Arab pop—are proving to be powerful cultural exports.

What Makes a Hit Go Viral in the Arab World?

Viewers often ask why songs like LM3ALLEM or Boshret Kheir perform better than major global releases. The answer lies in a mix of timing, cultural resonance, and digital-first promotion. Releasing during key events—like national celebrations or Ramadan—amplifies reach. Artists who use social platforms to seed early momentum often outperform expectations, even without international backing.
