Social Media Day Egypt is coming this year on the 21st of June, earlier 9 days than the original date to avoid the holy month of Ramadan. Mashable SMDay original date is 30th of June every year…The event organizers decided to make it more flexible to suite people attending to make the most of the celebration away from the loaded Ramadan calendar.

In 2011, Mashable initiated the idea of celebration the social media revolution, and called it the Social Media Day. Mashable didn’t want to limit the celebration on USA only, but allowed anyone from anywhere around the world to organize the Social Media Day in their country and celebrate with his local colleagues and whoever wants to join.
