Intel and Nestle issued statements today refuting false media reports that both multinationals are closing their offices in Egypt in light of the US Dollar crisis. Nestle Egypt reaffirmed its long-term commitment to the Egyptian market in a press statement published on social media.

Intel official statement
Intel statement was only published on social media (Facebook & Twitter) denying leaving Egypt rumor but still not fulfilling as the rumors say that the company is moving it’s R&D department to India.
There have been rumors stating that Intel has closed its office in Egypt. We would like to clarify that these rumors are incorrect; our offices in Cairo are fully operational and will remain as such.
