Hussein M. Dajani, the thriving marketer with 16 years of solid experience in Marketing Communication across the MENA region has resigned from hug digital after a two years term with them as the Chief Operating Officer of the agency.
The agency has not identified a replacement for Dajani.
Dajani is multi-skilled particularly in the field of digital transformation. Dajani is currently on a break to further his education. He is attending a course in Wharton University in the United States. When his course ends in June 2017, he will return to United Arab Emirates with a new role with a multinational company (client side).
The details of the contract have not yet surfaced, we will update this story once it is announced.
hug digital grew in gross billing by 9 percent and 12.5 percent, and revenues by 21 percent and 26.5 percent respectively during the two years that Dajani had the contract running. The agency won a staggering 27 out of 29 pitches in MENA across various verticals.
Dajani is a competent leader and team worker. He has been in charge of a team that dealt with client servicing, digital marketing, digital media, research, social media, finance and creative content creation (for brands like Americana Group, Nokia (HMD), Al-Futtaim Automotive Group, Majid Al-Futtaim Leisure and Entertainment, flydubai, Festival Malls, among many others) in places including Dubai, Doha, Kuwait, Riyadh, Cairo, and Trivandrum.
In collaboration with Google, Twitter, CrowdAnalyzer, Mintrics, Socialbakers and Brandwatch, and a unique ultramodern Social Intelligence Hub (Command Center), in the MENA region, he has built integrated marketing practices for real time data analysis and evaluation on all social media platforms and outlets.
