hug digital takes on HMD Global – The Home of Nokia Phones – across MENA as their regional social & digital agency.

April 18th, 2017 – Dubai, UAE – hug digital, one of the leading regional digital advertising agencies in the MENA region, announced today it has signed with HMD Global, the exclusive licensee of the Nokia brand for mobile phones and tablets, as their digital marketing communications agency across social, community management, creative and listening services.

hug digital will be working closely with the HMD Global’s team with the aim of extending their reach to the digital realm and delivering a unique digital experience that takes into account user experience and ensuring a wholesome union between offline and online marketing activities. The full extent of the services offered by hug digital encompasses handling the brand’s social assets while providing content creation, community management, full-fledged digital campaigns, reporting, research, and web listening.

As the new home of the iconic Nokia product, HMD Global is in charge of paving the future of these phones and as such is working on exciting plans which include having all future Nokia branded smartphones and tablets to run on the Android operation system; bridging the gap between the leading global software and one of the world’s iconic mobile brands.

hug digital launched in 2010 in Dubai before expanding to Cairo, Riyadh, and Trivandrum. To date, the agency has more than 126 staff members across their offices with various departments which encompass: Account management, Social, Creative, Production, Content creation, Digital Media, Development, Research, and Product Innovation catering to industry renowned brands such as Americana Group, Emaar Misr, du, flydubai, Festival Cities, Al-Futtaim Automotive Group, Majid Al Futtaim Group, Schneider Electric and more.
