Emirates Airline released a refurbished version of their Jennifer Aniston’s TV advert showing off their 2500 channels of entertainment while wondering “Who needs tablets and laptops anyway?” in response to the recent ban on keeping electronic devices on board flights to the US.

Starting March 25, passengers traveling to the US from 10 airports in eight Muslim-majority countries will not be allowed to have laptops, tablets or any communications device larger than a smartphone in the cabin of the plane. Countries included are Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Morocco, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and the UAE.

The company marketing team has seen a good opportunity to re-introduce its entertaining aircrafts.

    Let us entertain you.

    Social media reaction to #ElectronicsBan

If the #electronicsban was truly about safety and not racism, it would be across flights from all destinations, as with the ban on liquids.

With UAE and Qatar excluded from UK #electronicsban, the US is opening itself up to accusations of protectionism. Explanation is required.

UK #electronicsban does not include Qatar and UAE airlines. LOL. Money talks. Too many Qatar and UAE assets in the UK.

currently in UAE for work, unclear whether my company issue laptop will be allowed in the cabin. Ridiculous. #electronicsban
