Netflix Seeks Local Hires Ahead of MENA Launch

The online streaming service Netflix announced three job vacancies in the Middle East & North Africa (Manager, Social Media – Middle East, Senior Manager – EMEA Marketing Insights, Manager, Marketing Planning & Analysis – EMEA) in a step appears to be the kick start before launching in the MENA region.
Netflix is the world’s most popular online streaming service, with thousands of TV shows, movies and original series. Netflix streaming plan allows you to watch a different library of older and less well-known films than the DVD plan for $8.99 per month on any internet-connected device.
Netflix’s Joris Evers said in an e-mail to IGN, “We plan to complete our global expansion by the end of 2016. Of course the Middle East is part of that, hence our hiring.”
The Middle East has an Arabic online streaming service Shahid Plus with a decent number of Arabic movies and TV series, costs $4.99 per month.
